Biker Rebuild CIC stands firmly against all forms of modern slavery. We’re committed to operating with integrity, and we take deliberate action to ensure that slavery and human trafficking have no place in our supply chains. We believe everyone deserves freedom, dignity, and respect—and we’ve built our practices to make sure that our supply chain reflects those values.
This Modern Slavery Statement complies with section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes Biker Rebuild CIC’s anti-slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending November 2025.
As a registered Community Interest Company, Biker Rebuild CIC provides critical support services for biker ex-offenders across England and Wales, offering training, grants, intensive support, and more to help individuals reintegrate after release. Our supply chains include a wide range of goods, services, and resources that support both our frontline and operational needs. From direct support services like the Freedom Kit to back-office essentials, we’re vigilant in ensuring these supplies align with our commitment to ethical practice.
Commitment to Ethical Supply Chains
At Biker Rebuild CIC, we’re continually strengthening our approach to eliminate any risk of slavery or human trafficking within our operations. We work only with contractors, suppliers, and partners who meet our standards for ethical practice, and we’ve put rigorous checks in place to ensure we hold up our end of the bargain.
Policy Framework
Our policies, procedures, and contract requirements are intentionally designed to protect against modern slavery. Here’s how we keep our supply chains safe and ethical:
Procurement Policy
We work exclusively with suppliers who share our commitment to fighting modern slavery. All new contracts include clauses that require suppliers to make every effort to ensure no slavery or trafficking exists within their organizations or their supply chains. We maintain the right to audit our suppliers and will require corrective action if any concerns arise.
Recruitment
We follow strict recruitment practices to ensure every employee is legally entitled to work in the UK, completing all necessary background checks. Our “safer recruitment” policy provides support for employees to raise concerns if they experience any type of abuse in the workplace.
Safeguarding Policy
Biker Rebuild CIC has a Safeguarding Policy to protect against neglect and abuse, with a designated Safeguarding Officer in place. We’re ready to investigate and address any concerns that arise.
Whistleblowing Policy
Our Whistleblowing Policy empowers staff, board members, and committee members to report instances of malpractice. We are committed to transparency and accountability in every part of our organization and supply chain.
Training
We believe awareness is critical. Anti-slavery and human trafficking are central components of our Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion training. This ongoing education ensures our team remains vigilant and equipped to identify and prevent risks of modern slavery in both current and future supply chains.
This statement has been reviewed and approved by Biker Rebuild CIC’s Board of Directors and will be updated annually.
Every decision we make is driven by integrity and purpose—because true freedom is a right that no one should have to fight for.
